Rev. Norman Paul Desire is a seasoned Christian leader with over 30 years of ministry experience. Born in exile in Uganda, he embraced Christianity in 1983 and returned to Rwanda after the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, delivering messages of reconciliation, restoration, and spiritual revival.
In 2003, he founded Christ for the Nations Ministries (CNM) to drive spiritual and socio-economic renewal. CNM focuses on gospel outreach, leadership training, women’s empowerment, and supporting vulnerable groups. It operates a school as a social enterprise and is establishing a Leadership Institute to expand its regional impact.
Holding degrees in Theology and Christian Leadership, Rev. Norman is finalizing his Doctorate in Ministry. A certified leadership coach and international speaker, he also contributes to key Christian organizations in Rwanda. He is found member of Forum of Born Again of Churches and organizations of Rwanda (FOBACOR) and Interdenominational Fellowship of Interdenominational Christian Organizations in Rwanda (FICOR).
Residing in Rwanda with his wife and four children, Rev. Norman continues to empower communities through faith, mentorship, and visionary leadership.
Mrs. Mutesi Asenath Desire is the Secretary General of Christ for the Nations Ministries (CNM) and the Director of Women Rise, the women’s empowerment umbrella under CNM. Her life journey began as a Rwandan refugee in Uganda. These early experiences instilled in her a deep love for people and a profound sense of patriotism for her motherland. Upon returning to Rwanda with other repatriates after the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, Mutesi developed a passion for helping those affected by trauma, loss and suffering.
As she continued her mission of serving God and her community, she met her husband, Norman Paul Desire. Together, they dedicated their lives to preaching the gospel and empowering vulnerable groups, with Mutesi focusing particularly on women and children. She holds multiple certifications in trauma healing and continues to inspire countless women by helping them heal from past trauma, build meaningful relationships, elevate their spiritual well-being, and reclaim the power of their lives.
Dan Mutamwa is a dedicated leader and the Vice President of Christ for the Nations Ministries (CNM), passionately committed to bringing the Gospel into the marketplace and making Christ known. His mission is to inspire spiritual growth and encourage others to integrate their faith into every aspect of life. His mission is to inspire others to grow spiritually and live out their faith in every aspect of life, living out the change he desires to see in ministry.
Engaged in Youth Ministry, Children’s Ministry, Worship Ministry, and Evangelism Ministry, Dan builds meaningful connections with people across different life stages, sharing God’s love and truth in impactful ways.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and extensive experience in the finance sector, Dan has also earned multiple leadership certifications, equipping him with valuable insights and skills for effective leadership. His expertise, combined with a deep devotion to God’s work, drives him to lead with purpose and motivate others to fulfill their God-given potential.

Vital Muvunyi is a dynamic leader and media professional dedicated to creatively sharing the Gospel. As Communication Manager at Christ for the Nations Ministries (CNM), he oversees impactful programs on TV, radio, and online platforms that have reached thousands.
With experience as a TV and radio host, Vital excels in engaging diverse audiences through storytelling, live panels, and insightful commentary. A skilled writer and blogger, he explores theological and social issues with depth and clarity.
Holding a Postgraduate Diploma in Leadership and Theology from Africa College of Theology and a Bachelor’s in International Relations from Kigali Independent University, Vital brings a global perspective to his ministry. Passionate about innovation, Vital plans to launch a podcast on Christian Apologetics and online leadership workshops, shaping the future of Christian media.
Jean Marie Vianney is a seasoned accountant with 16 years of experience in financial management for international NGOs. As the Senior Auditor at Christ for the Nations Ministries (CNM), he ensures financial transparency, effective budgeting, and compliance, contributing to the organization’s mission of transforming lives through the Gospel.
Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Jean Marie (as he is commonly called) is deeply motivated by the biblical principle of stewardship, striving to manage resources faithfully and responsibly in service to God’s Kingdom. His passion lies in empowering communities to break free from poverty through sustainable practices and sound financial management.
Beyond his professional expertise, he enjoys mentoring others and connecting with children through playful interactions, embodying his commitment to holistic service and compassion. Jean Marie’s work reflects his dedication to uplifting lives and advancing God’s purpose through integrity and stewardship.
Minega Eric serves as the Treasurer at Christ for the Nations Ministries (CNM), where he manages financial operations to support the organization’s mission of transforming lives and spreading the Gospel.
With extensive experience as a Finance Specialist, Financial Analyst, and Accountant, Eric brings a deep understanding of financial systems and strategies to his role. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, he is committed to ensuring sound financial practices that enable CNM to deliver impactful programs and initiatives.
Passionate about poverty eradication and financial education, Eric believes that equipping individuals with financial knowledge is essential for breaking poverty cycles and fostering sustainable growth. Through his work at CNM, he aims to uplift communities and advance God’s Kingdom by creating opportunities for lasting transformation.
