Community Empowerment
Elevating and empowering communities is within Christ for the Nations Ministries through projects of orphans, widows and savings groups. These initiatives provide dignity, resilience, self worth ,positive future. This is done through applying biblical principles of love, tolerance, accountability to one another.
This aligns with Christ for the Nations Ministries vision and mission of equipping churches to be agents of healing, change and transformation through the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our strategic objective is to empower these groups to be transformative in their communities emulating the true discipleship model as taught in the scriptures.
The widows’ project aims to economically empower women with skills for social economic sustainability as well as sharing the love of God.
We offer Biblical counselling for their social economical sustainability. Financial Support and donations in kind on small scale is mobilized and given to some groups in order to help them in their self-reliant and for their family support.
Homes as safe haven for orphans have been constructed to house orphans supported by widows.
Participating in alleviation of human suffering by seeking assistance to the needy and orphans in form of securing educational support, health care and Shelter.
CNM supports children, orphans, vulnerable children and from poor families that have not had an opportunity for education and those that need health care. We have also provided some with shelter.
What we do
With CNM programs we have managed to provide practical and spiritual support to over 20 savings groups from three districts in Gasabo, Rugende, and Rwamagana.
We empower them with Biblical principles on how to build up relationships, instil in them ideas and values and how to develop a saving culture for self reliance and confidence and hope to widows and orphans .
Spiritual grown or Integration has been produced results in terms of having non believers in this case some Muslims gave their lives to Christ .
There has been substantial understanding about the benefits of savings in some communities now coming 20 saving groups with over 1000 members. Small Business, livelihood of families have changed by households been able to provide themselves with health care.
